As part of the social partnership between the Higher Technical and Humanitarian College and JSC Ulba Metallurgical Plant, with the support of JSC NAC Kazatomprom, the cabinet "Computer-aided design and technologies of metallurgical processes of JSC UMP" was opened.
The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests:
- Umerbekov Zhanat Zhanbyrbaevich - Managing Director for HR and Industrial Safety of JSC NAC Kazatomprom
- Bezhetsky Sergey Vladimirovich - Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Ulba Metallurgical Plant
- Akylbek Alima Akylbekovna - Deputy Head of the Department of Education of the East Kazakhstan region
The office is equipped with a modern interactive panel and a computer lab.
For students, opening a new classroom is:
- simulation of real production processes
- work with computer-aided design systems
- allows the use of artificial intelligence technologies
The project was implemented as part of the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, announced by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Cooperation between Ulba Metallurgical Plant JSC and the college includes internships, scholarships and student employment.
